Two Next Level Members Taken in the Major League Baseball Draft!
Congratulations to both Chase McDonald and Dallas Newton, who were taken in 2013 Major League Baseball Draft. Chase, a former JH Rose Rampant and current junior at ECU, was taken in the 12th round by the Houston Astros. Dallas, who just completed his Freshman year at Pitt Community College, was taken in the 32nd round by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Such an exciting time for these young men and we are so proud of them!
Next Level Member Alyssa Pitt Commits to Radford University!
Alyssa, who will be a rising senior at Farmville Central High school, has decided to accept a scholarship offer to play her college volleyball for Coach Marci Jenkins & the Highlanders.The Next Level member and East Carolina Junior Volleyball star, made her decision a couple of weeks ago, after entertaining several other Division 1 offers. We are so proud of and happy for Alyssa & her parents, Rumond and Michelle, on this fantastic accomplishment! (Interesting side note..Alyssa becomes the 10th Next Level member to land a scholarship in The Big South Conference in the last 3 years. That conference is paying attention to what’s going on in The East!)
Next Level member Tucker Jacobs commits to United States Air Force Academy!
South Central high school catcher/pitcher TUCKER JACOBS has verbally committed to play baseball & attend the US Air Force Academy! The junior right-hander, possesses a high baseball IQ, has distinguished himself as a leader and is outstanding in the classroom . Tucker is also part of the Evoshield Canes Showcase organization. Congratulations to Tucker & the entire Jacobs family on this fabulous HONOR, OPPORTUNITY & COMMITMENT!

Congrats to Next Level members CHASE MCDONALD (ECU baseball) & SARAH CHRISTIAN (ECU softball) for recently being named to the CUSA Commissioner’s Honor Roll, which requires a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Proud of their on field accomplishments, but equally proud of them achieving this in the classroom. Awesome!
Next Level member Kori Adams commits to Wingate University volleyball!
Kori is a junior setter at DH Conley and plays setter with the East Carolina Junior Volleyball Club (ECJVC 17 Black). She will join her sister Shannen, who is currently a Freshman softball player at Wingate. Wingate University is getting an athletic, versatile setter with good size and skill. More importantly, they are getting an outstanding, well-rounded young lady from a solid family. So proud of Kori and happy for the whole Adams family. Way to go!
Next Level member Davis Kirkpatrick hurls No-Hitter!
A historic performance by Next Level member DAVIS KIRKPATRICK last night on the pitcher’s mound, against West Craven High School! The DH Conley senior & ECU recruit, threw a NO-HITTER, while striking out a DH Conley school record 19 batters, in a 7-0 win. Congrats to Davis, his family and his teammates on an overpowering performance last night!
Next Level member Taylor Matkins wins CAA Rookie of the Week Award!
Huge Congrats to Next Level member Taylor Matkins, freshman softball player at Unc-W, for being named the Colonial Athletic Association Conference’s Rookie of the week! Taylor, a 2012 DH Conley graduate, batted 6-12 with 4 RBI and 4 Runs scored in 3 games this past week. Great job Taylor. Keep it going!

Next Level Training Center To Offer FREE Physical Therapy Screenings
Next Level Training Center is now offering PHYSICAL THERAPY screenings for all members for FREE by KEVIN YOUNGS, PT. Kevin is the owner of Youngs Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab, Inc. He is also a physical therapy consultant for ECU Athletics. Kevin has rehabbed numerous collegiate & professional athletes. He’ll be providing services on the 2nd Thursday of each month starting at 6pm. Feel free to ask for more details or look for information posted within the club. We are excited about having Kevin available to our athletes and their families!
